Both of our cat shelters offer the option of Lifetime Care in our progressive Retirement Centers. To be eligible for this program, cats must meet certain health and medical requirements. There is a one-time fee for each cat.
All of the cats in our Lifetime Care program receive high-quality food, special dental and medical care, and individual attention on a regular basis. We even maintain a fully equipped clinic on-site to ensure health and happiness among our feline friends. Our staff and volunteers take every opportunity possible to visit and play with the cats inside the Center as well as "outside" in its large enclosed patio areas, ensuring that their golden years are some of their best years.
For more information regarding your cat's retirement, please feel free to call either one of our shelters and ask to speak with our Retirement Coordinator.
Both of our Retirement Centers are environmentally enriched to promote activity and relaxation for the health and wellness of our retirement cats.
NatCat Paradise, Spring Valley
In Spring Valley, the Center features a wall-to-wall, overhead walkway, "lifeguard tower," large "island," "volcano with lava" hosting pressure-controlled heating pads, ramps, scratching posts, and the "Retirement Bay boat dock" anchoring "love boats" holding litterboxes.
NatCat Newport Pier, Newport Beach
Our Newport Beach Center has a "replica" of the Newport Pier with a floor-to-ceiling scratching post, cat-sized steps for pier access, and a "lifeguard tower" overlooking colorful "waves" made from corrugated aluminum.
