Denise Johnston, President

After graduating from Penn State, Ms. Johnston brought her academic knowledge and charitable nature to Southern California to work for NatCat Founder Mr. C. Richard Calore. Upon Mr. Calore's passing in 1988, she proudly assumed the position of NatCat's president. In 1995, she moved the organization to our present location—in the scenic locale of Newport Beach, off the historic Highway 101. Ms. Johnston is still our president today, and looks forward to many years of fighting for felines to come.

Gerri Calore, Vice President

Mrs. Gerri Calore worked alongside NatCat Founder Mr. C. Richard Calore at our original Long Beach location until 1975, when she opened our second location in San Diego. As our vice president, she also fills the roles of PR director and treasurer. Passionately maintaining relationships with our compassionate supporters and diligently managing our financial welfare, she derives great satisfaction from protecting the interests of cats and humans alike.
